Michael Curry spoke on eConsulting at CONFAB: the Next Generation Consultant. This annual conference of the Institute of Management Consultants  was held this year in Reno, Nevada. The talk focused on how eConsulting can dramatically improve a companies bottom line. eConsulting is the practice of using technology to improve the people and business practices to produce dramatic results

eConsulting is the practice of using technology to improve the people and business practices to produce dramatic results as depicted in the following diagram. There is a tremendous opportunity for the eConsultant to help businesses adopt technology solutions that will make them more profitable.

Today, technology has become the competitive advantage for every small to medium business that competes in a global economy. Given the growing need for technology and the fact that its adoption is difficult, the opportunity for consultants is clearly apparent. Business fundamentals have not changed, and technology must be coupled with sound practices.

"Michael has really opened my eyes to how technology systems can dramatically improve my business," said Bob Phillips, a former VP of HR for Tektronix and author of Absolute Honesty turned consultantThe PROFIT methodology, created by Web Mentors, is just such a proven  process that has generated great success.

Primary revenue areas first

"Michael has really opened my eyes to how technology systems can dramatically improve my business," said Bob Phillips, a former VP of HR for Tektronix and author of Absolute Honesty turned consultant.

Michael, it certainly was a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to enjoy a good round of golf in Reno. This weekend I just got back from a trip to Venezuela and tomorrow I will commence to review all the material and the ideas I obtained at CONFAB. I just went through your website and I am impressed about the quality of web design you can produce.
