Michael Curry spoke on eConsulting at CONFAB: the Next Generation Consultant.
This annual conference of the Institute of Management Consultants was held
this year in Reno, Nevada. The talk focused on how eConsulting can dramatically
improve a companies bottom line.

eConsulting is the practice of using technology to improve the people and
business practices to produce dramatic results as depicted in the following
diagram. There is a tremendous opportunity for the eConsultant to help
businesses adopt technology solutions that will make them more profitable.
Today, technology has become the competitive advantage for every small to medium
business that competes in a global economy. Given the growing need for
technology and the fact that its adoption is difficult, the opportunity for
consultants is clearly apparent. Business fundamentals have not changed, and
technology must be coupled with sound practices.
