With the killer wrap job on our new fleet vehicle, you will see us coming.
Saturday, June 30, 2007

You will not have any difficulty spotting us on the road with our new vehicle signage. The goal was to have an attractive but professional image and we are really pleased with the results. Being active and living at high altitude limits the practical vehicle choices. While the Subaru is an excellent transportation choice, it just needed something to set it apart and help clients recognize us.

The wrap on our fleet vehicle is both professional and cool.

Kudos to A+ Signs for their hard work and to Matt Gaylor for a great design. Of course, we also want to  acknowledge Ed Carson the creator of our logo, and Barbara Radabach who has helped with branding.

A Mint poll of six analysts yielded a median figure of 32,500 units a month, or 390,000 cars a year—some 56%more than the firm's start-up capacity of making the small car. The highest estimate was 45,000 a month and the lowest 20,000 a month—the range indicating the analysts' view of the mix of the various variants of the car.

Well if you think a Subaru or a Smart Car is a good deal, you will love the Worlds Cheapest Car, the Tata Nano. Tata Motors of India has recently aquired Jaguar, and is becoming a major player in the automotive industry. The Nano is an effort to provide the poorest families with safer transportation. In India and China, families are packed onto motorcycle, which I photographed in India. Priced at only $2,500 US Dollars, the Nano will be affordable transport to even the poorest.

Mercedes Manufactured Smart Car is a big surprise in a small package On a recent trip to Germany I saw a lot of Mercedes Benz Smart Cars on the road. I had the pleasure to drive a friends, and found the car amazing. After a few minutes had no idea I was in such a small vehicle as I motored through the Black Forest with plenty of zip and good handling. The engineering is amazing, with an inline 3 cylinder, 4 star crash rating, and a penny-pinching 45 MPG. Recently approved for sale in the USA, the Smart Car starts at $12,000 comes in a cabriolet, and future models will include hybrids for even greater range! Could this be the future of transport?
